FLASH Diagnostics at HKUST E-25th: Celebrating Innovation and Roots
From November 4-5, we were proud to participate in the HKUST E-25th Entrepreneurship Day, celebrating 25 years of innovation, impact, and entrepreneurial spirit at the HKUST Entrepreneurship Center.
As a startup founded by two HKUST PhD graduates, this event felt especially meaningful. We had the opportunity to showcase our rapid molecular diagnostic platform and reconnect with the community that helped shape our journey. From our early days as researchers working on COVID-19 diagnostics to becoming a growing startup addressing global challenges in infectious disease detection—HKUST has been an integral part of our story.
Our booth was set up among dozens of other promising HKUST-linked ventures, spanning deep tech, sustainability, biotech, and more. The energy on campus was incredible—alumni, investors, students, and industry leaders came through to discover the innovations emerging from the HKUST ecosystem.
We were particularly excited to connect with peers who have followed our progress since day one. It was a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and a reminder of why we do what we do: bring high-quality, accessible diagnostics to the point of care—starting with the veterinary industry and expanding to other high-impact applications.
A big thank you to the HKUST Entrepreneurship Center and the entire E-25th team for organizing such a vibrant and well-curated event.
